Dinosaur Discovery

Dinosaur Discovery is a problem solving adventure. It is designed to be the core of a class's learning activities. These range across areas such as exploration, mapping, creative writing, art, library skills, reading and drama.

Dinosaur Discovery encourages note taking and logical thought and it provides a focus for children to talk and discuss strategies.

Somewhere beneath the earth is a hidden cache of dinosaur eggs, your task is to find them and to hatch a baby brontosaurus. By following the notes in the professor's diary children will be able to plan a successful course of action. There are many tasks to be carried out and problems to be solved before the quest can be completed.

The Teachers' Notes included contain a wealth of ideas for activities in English, Maths, Science, Drama and Art.
